Twenty-eight undergraduates from North America participated in the Bar-Ilan University-Yeshiva University’s 12th annual Summer Science Research Internship Program this past summer. Bar-Ilan University’s International School hosted a Zikaron BaSalon event to commemorate Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom Hashoah). Bar-Ilan University’s international students gathered on campus just before Passover (Pesach) in April to learn about the Jewish holiday and the traditional Passover Seder (meal). Bar-Ilan University has won a €3.7 million Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s (EMJM) grant through the Leslie and Susan Gonda (Goldschmied) Multidisciplinary Brain Research Center to establish a groundbreaking graduate program in Brain and Data Science. This is the first time an Israeli university has led and won this prestigious grant.
