Creating partnerships with universities and colleges around the world is a key focus for Bar-Ilan University. Recognition from peers, collaboration on research and articles, joint programs, student exchange programs, and more are all highly sought-after in all fields at all universities. Not only do these partnerships and collaborations broaden the scope of the professors and enhance the education of the students, but they also enable the universities to put themselves on the world map. One way of doing this is through conferences and workshops.
Three of these conferences and workshops took place at Bar-Ilan University in June 2022 – the Association for Israel Studies’ Conference on Israel: Conflicts and Mobility in a Diverse Society, the Israel-Italy Advanced Materials Workshop, and The Avant-Garde in Yiddish Culture conference.
